I am told,
To the screaming silence,
To the rivers of gold.
To the winter's night,
To the summer's day,
To the moon's sight,
To the kids at play.
To the earth's song,
To the mother's cry,
To the warrior's gong,
To the leader's try.
To the butterfly's wings,
To the first place winner,
To the children's swings,
To the unknown sinner.
To the broken hearts,
To the angel's heaven,
To the artist's arts,
To the wanted's safe haven.
To the rich's money,
To the poor's life,
To the bees' honey,
To the kitchen's knife.
